DeWalt hosted its 2026 new-tools media event in Baltimore in early August. Several products were shown before DeWalt released full specs, so treat details as preliminary until the product pages go live.
What was shown
- 20V MAX Atomic compact grinder with a new sleeved motor design.
- 2-in-1 needle scaler and chisel for metal fabrication.
- Sheet metal nibbler.
- Cordless palm nailer.
- Oscillating multi-tool.
- A new blower.
Earlier in 2026
At World of Concrete in January, DeWalt showed the POWERSHIFT 12-inch cordless cut-off saw (DCPS612AG2), the POWERSHIFT 1-1/8 in hex demolition hammer (DCPS966AG2, up to 45 joules), the 20V MAX XR 21-degree duplex nailer (DCN910B) and a 20V MAX concrete chemical sprayer (DCCS1100B, up to 150 PSI). See our World of Concrete roundup.
The deal running right now
Lowe's has three DeWalt free-tool tiers through January 20, 2027: buy a qualifying 20V starter kit and choose 1, 2 or 3 free tools. At the time of writing the tiers were $199 to $299 (2x 5Ah + charger, 1 free; the price has moved), $299 (4Ah + 8Ah POWERSTACK-style pack, 2 free) and $449 (2x 8Ah XR packs + fast charger, 3 free). Prices change; check the live deals page.
Our take: the 3-free tier wins if you need two big packs anyway. If you only need one drill kit, the 1-free tier is the cheaper entry.
