Bambu Lab

Bambu Lab X2D, H2C and P2S: which new Bambu printer to buy

The dual-nozzle X2D from $649, the seven-material H2C and the $549 P2S, compared for shop use.

Bambu Lab's lineup changed a lot over the past year. Here's the short version.

Printer Key idea U.S. price
X2D (announced April 14, 2026) Dual nozzle with a mechanical switch, heated chamber to 65 C, nozzle to 300 C for ABS, ASA and nylon, HEPA and carbon filtration, under 50 dB $649, or $899 Combo
H2C (U.S. launch late 2025) One fixed extruder plus a slot that swaps among six induction hot ends: up to seven materials with far less waste See retailer
P2S (U.S. launch late 2025) Step up from the P1S and X1C $549, or $799 with AMS 2

Which one for a tool shop

  • Holders, inserts and jigs in PLA and PETG: the P2S is plenty.
  • Tough parts (ASA outdoors, nylon, carbon-fill): the X2D's heated chamber and 300 C nozzle are the reason to step up. We run an X2D in our shop; our printed battery and meter holders came off it.
  • Multi-color signs and lots of material swaps: the H2C wastes far less filament on color changes.
